This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and protected when you visit terralba.voyage (the “Site”), request a travel itinerary, make a reservation, or contact us by any other means.

1. WHO WE ARE

Terralba is an inbound travel agency under Peruvian law, with its headquarters located in Cusco, Peru. We are responsible for processing your personal data when you browse our Site and in the context of your commercial relationship with us.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2.1 Information you provide directly to us

When you fill out a form on our Site (for example, to download a travel itinerary, request a quote, or contact us), we collect:

Your first and last name
Your email address
Your phone number (if provided)
The content of your message or request

When you make a reservation, we also collect:

Your postal and billing address
Your passport information (when necessary for travel arrangements)
Your payment information (securely processed by our payment provider — see section 4)

Organize your trip — book accommodations, transportation, and activities, transmit necessary information to our local providers (hotels, guides, transporters)
Contact you — before, during, and after your trip, particularly for follow-up on your file and on-the-ground assistance
Process your payments — via our secure payment provider (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal). Terralba never stores your full credit card numbers — this data is processed directly by our payment provider, compliant with the PCI-DSS standard
Improve our Site — analyze navigation to optimize content and user experience
Keep you informed, if you have consented, of our new trips, blog articles, or offers — you can unsubscribe at any time

5. SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We never sell your personal data. We only share it in the following cases:
Local providers — strictly necessary information (name, dates, preferences) is transmitted to hotels, guides, transporters, and other providers involved in organizing your trip in Peru.
Payment provider — your payment information is transmitted directly and securely to our payment processing provider during a reservation.
Google Analytics — for Site traffic analysis (see section 3).
Legal obligations — we may share your information if Peruvian law or a competent authority requires us to, or to protect our rights, our security, or that of our travelers.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

If you reside in the European Union, Switzerland, or any other country with equivalent data protection legislation, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Right of access — to know what data we hold about you
Right to rectification — to correct inaccurate information
Right to erasure — to request the deletion of your data, subject to ongoing legal and contractual obligations (for example, an active reservation)
Right to object — to object to the use of your data for marketing purposes

International data transfer: as part of organizing your trip, your information is necessarily transferred and processed in Peru, where Terralba is based. This transfer is inherent to the nature of our activity — organizing an inbound trip on site.

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information:

Itinerary requests and leads — for 24 months from your last interaction with us, unless you request deletion
Reservation files — for the duration necessary for the execution of the travel contract, then archived in accordance with applicable accounting and legal obligations (generally 5 years)
Browsing data (analytical cookies) — in accordance with Google Analytics' default retention periods (up to 14 months)

8. SECURITY OF YOUR DATA

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Online payments are processed via secure and encrypted platforms (SSL/TLS) compliant with banking security standards (PCI-DSS).

9. MINORS

Our Site and services are intended for adult travelers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 16 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information without such consent, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time, particularly to reflect changes in our practices, our tools, or for legal and regulatory reasons. The date of the last update is at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it regularly.
