At TERRALBA, we design journeys for travel advisors that go deeper than discovery.
We lead travellers into extraordinary landscapes, living cultures and remote territories where nature still sets the rhythm and encounters still carry meaning. What guides every route we draw
Direct payment
Rates agreed directly with communities and payments made without an unnecessary intermediary.
Fair professional rates
Independent local guides set their rates; TERRALBA pays the amounts requested without negotiating them down.
Low volume
We favour Palcoyo and Pallay Poncho and do not operate Vinicunca, the mass-tourism Uros complex or Taquile.
Conservation
Where the brief calls for it, we work with suppliers whose activity includes conservation, including Rainforest Expeditions and Inkaterra.
In 2012, as part of the international multidisciplinary team behind the Machu Picchu Master Plan, we contributed to the Tourism and Recreational Use Plan for the Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary. In 2020, we were commissioned to evaluate the implementation of the 2015–2019 Master Plan, including conservation recommendations.
